No prior experience in drawing is necessary; however, this is a sustained and focused workshop that requires participants to commit to all three hours.
Many of the artists featured in Ten Americans: After Paul Klee not only used line as the basis for their drawing but also considered the act of drawing itself a fundamental necessity for creativity. Barbara Bernstein, a practicing artist teaching at UVA, will lead a drawing workshop devoted to encouraging concentration and awareness through the use of simple drawing and perception exercises.
