Celebrate Earth Day at a Teen-Only Event

The National Museum of Natural History is hosting a teen-only event to inspire teens to share their voice and talk with scientists, climate leaders, and engaged teens about climate science, impacts, and solutions.

Come Celebrate Earth Optimism 2018: Climate Change and You! This event is open only to a limited number of teens and conservation leaders, scientists, photographers, artists and more!

Activities will include: conversation stations, teen panels, the Smithsonian Recycling Challenge, and opportunities to learn more and get involved locally and globally. Meet other local teens who are interested in science, get information about internships and other opportunities, and enjoy free sustainable, local food. This will all take place in Q?rius, The Coralyn W. Whitney Science Education Center. Sign up at our website!
