Featuring the hand-crafted arts and merchandise of up to 35 local women artists and artisans, the MakeHER Mart is a unique opportunity for the public to meet and interact with local women artists while supporting small businesses.

Drawing on the strengths of D.C s vibrant maker community and the women who have helped put it on the map, NMWA will offer several deep dive workshops will offer practical tips and resource sharing for taking steps forward. Workshops and reservation info TBA.

Fresh Talk is presented by the museum's Women, Arts, and Social Change public program initiative. The 2018 MakeHER Summit, including this Fresh Talk, is generously supported by the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities, which receives support from the National Endowment for the Arts.
