While the Phillips undergoes a preservation project in the historic house until early 2018, concerts will take place next door in the Cosmos Club's elegant Beaux Arts Warne Ballroom.
Ukrainian violinist Aleksey Semenenko came to prominence in 2015 after his success at the Queen Elisabeth Competition in Belgium. He has performed in Russia, throughout Western Europe, and in the US where he was the New Artist of the Month in Musical America for March 2015. His regular recital partner is pianist Inna Firsova, who also has a successful solo career. As a duo, they were awarded Best Concert at the 2016 Dubrovnik Summer Festival. Their program includes Viennese classics by Mozart and Schubert alongside one of Ysa e s solo violin sonatas, arrangements of music by Debussy, and Wieniawski s dazzling fantasy on themes from Gounod s Faust.
Tickets are $40, $20 for members and students with ID, and free for youth (ages 8-18) with reservation; museum admission for that day is included. Advance reservations are strongly recommended.

Dress Code at the Cosmos Club:
Gentlemen are expected to wear jackets, dress slacks, a collared long-sleeved shirt (tucked-in) or turtleneck at all times.
Ladies are expected to dress in an equivalent fashion, which means dresses, suits, skirts or dress slacks with jackets or tops of equivalent formality. Leggings or tights, unless worn with skirts, dresses, or long jackets, are not considered to be of equivalent formality.
Military uniforms and national dress of equivalent formality are also acceptable.
Sweat suits or other athletic or sports attire, jeans or other denim garments, sneakers, flip-flops, athletic footwear and shorts are never acceptable in the public rooms.
