Hamilton, The Room Where It Happens
Though he never saw the District of Columbia, Hamilton's widow Eliza settled here with their adult daughter, becoming a tenant and friend of Tudor Place owner Britannia Peter Kennon. Her heartfelt gift to Britannia is just one of the rarely seen objects from the collection that can connect us to this fascinating founding family.
